  1. How can projects be used to enhance student learning?
Projects are a great tool for differentiated instruction to reach every learner in a classroom regardless of ability. It allows the teacher to actively engage all students and provides opportunity for hands on learning. Students become excited about learning and are more likely to participate and take responsibility for their own learning. Projects are also great for providing students with the opportunity to interact with the community and other resources. Projects provide students with practice in the implementation of technology and teaches them skills to apply in real life settings.

  2. Students have to apply what they have learned in developing a project. This involves "thinking" intead of giving back memorized answers. This also helps them solve problems they run into in putting together a project which is necessary in the world we live in.
Projects allow the students to be actively involved and this increases student learning. Antother benefit is to have a homogenized group paired together in projects. Students learn more effeciently when participating in a project together.

  4. Question 1:
Teachers develop projects that focus on necessary content standards (both course content and NETS standards). Students are given opportunities to use technology for research, generation of a new project(s), and develop leadership skills and interaction/interpersonal skills as they offer input on assessment, timelines, and direction for their projects and complete them.
